Hello, hello!

My name is Jenni, and I head up all thing’s Talent related at x+why. I joined the business in January 2024, with the remit of streamlining the recruitment process, to better reflect the company’s transition from “start up” to “scale up”.

We currently have 12 workspace sites and 3 clubspaces across the UK, with a team of over 140 awesome humans supporting our members – yes, I am a little bias!

Day to day I am responsible for recruiting a range of positions across our Finance, Sales, Marketing, Design, Workspace Operations, Clubspace (hospitality), and Event teams.

My approach is simple – each candidate is someone’s friend, colleague or family member, and I believe you should treat people how you would want someone that is important in your life to be treated.

That means open communication, clear timeframes, and honest feedback. Our interviews will feel like two people having a real conversation. I will share lots about x+why, the nitty gritty of the role and if I am working from home, there is a good chance you will meet my scruffy terrier and maybe Graham (our lovely postman) who likes to pop his head in and say hi!

Unfortunately, we can’t hire everyone who applies; however, we can make sure that every candidate who takes the time to engage with us, feels like it was a positive (and enjoyable!) experience - even if they don't end up joining the team on that occasion.
