Floor Supervisor - Private Members Club

The Arding Rooms is our award winning private members' club and events venue, located within the beautifully restored Arding & Hobbs building in the heart of Clapham Junction. We've created a welcoming space where members and guests can work, socialise, dine and celebrate.
Alongside our members' club offering, The Arding Rooms hosts a varied programme of private events, from intimate gatherings and business meetings, to larger celebrations and community gatherings. The cherry on top is our stunning roof terrace, with panoramic views across London's iconic skyline.
We are currently looking for a passionate and polished Floor Supervisor to join the team on a full time variable contract (40 hrs per week). The club is open everyday from 8am to late, so shifts will vary across weekdays and weekends, and will include a mix of morning, afternoon and evenings.
The hourly rate is £16 + service.
The bit about the role
We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our front of house team as a Supervisor, to help us deliver memorable experiences for both our members and event guests.
This is a varied role that combines front-of-house service at our all day dining restaurant, with event support. Whether you're welcoming members for lunch, serving drinks on the roof terrace or helping set up for a private function, you'll play an important role in creating the warm, welcoming atmosphere The Arding Rooms is known for.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and support the front-of-house team during daily service.
Ensure smooth and elevated experiences for members and guests.
Assist with training, team briefings, and daily service planning.
Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and discretion.
Confidently adapt to working across the main restaurant, the roof terrace and event space.
Work closely with the GM and wider team to deliver excellence at every touch point.

A positive, outgoing, upbeat approach is your default demeanour.
You have experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role.
You take pride in your presentation and communicate with warmth and kindness.
A natural people person, you will get know our members (and their dogs) by name.
Even when things get bumpy - you keep your cool, so guests are never aware.
Super organised, you know consistency with standards matter.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team who take great pride in everything they deliver.
