The bit about the role:

Based in the iconic 103 Colmore Row building, our Birmingham location is home to a vibrant community of members, visitors and guests who expect exceptional hospitality, outstanding service and a warm welcome from the moment they arrive.

We are launching an exciting new coffee offering in the foyer of 103 Colmore Row and are looking for an exceptional Barista to join us on a casual basis.

The hours will be between 10/20 per week, spread across 2/3 weekday shifts (no weekends!), which will start at 7am and finish at midday. The hourly rate is £13.50 and we are looking for someone who can start ASAP.

The bit about the role:

As the face of our new coffee cart, you'll play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our members, visitors and guests. This isn't simply about making coffee (although that part is incredibly important!); it's also about building relationships, remembering regular orders, creating a buzz around the space and delivering consistently exceptional service.

You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality coffees and drinks, maintaining impeccable presentation standards, managing stock levels and ensuring the coffee cart operates smoothly each day.

This is a role for someone who genuinely takes pride in their craft and enjoys being the reason someone starts their day with a smile!

The bit about you:

You are an accomplished barista with strong coffee knowledge and excellent technical skills. You understand extraction, milk texturing and consistency, but equally important, you love engaging with people and creating great customer experiences.

You are confident working independently, have high standards, and take ownership of your space. You're reliable, well-presented, personable and bring positive energy to every shift.

Experience in a premium hospitality, café or specialty coffee environment would be highly advantageous.
