The Arding Rooms is x+why's newest Private Members Club, located within the beautifully restored Arding & Hobbs building in the heart of Clapham Junction. Blending the iconic Art Deco era, with a modern creative spirit — The Arding Rooms is a space where high end hospitality meets community, comfort and style.

We are looking for passionate and polished Wait Staff to help shape the guest experience. This is a part time variable contract (approx 20 hrs per week) covering day, evening and weekends shifts. The Club is open 8am to late, 7 days a week.

The bit about the role:

• Support the front-of-house team during daily service
• Ensure smooth and elevated experiences for members and guests
• Handle bookings, floor plans, and special member requests
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and discretion
• Work closely with the Floor Managers and wider club team to deliver excellence 
• The Club will operate full service 7 days a week (hourly rate + service) 

The bit about you:

• Experience as part of a busy restaurant floor team
• Ideally within a private members club or premium hospitality setting 
• Immaculate presentation and confident, professional communication
• A natural people person who exudes warmth and charm 
• The ability to keep smiling, even when under pressure
• Flexible, positive and excited to grow with a brand-new opening
