Meet Jenni our Head of Talent Acquisition
Hello, hello!
My name is Jenni, and I head up all thing’s Talent related at x+why. I joined the business in January 2024, with the remit of streamlining the recruitment process, to better reflect the company’s transition from “start up” to “scale up”.
We now have 15 beautiful spaces across the UK and a team of over 120 lovely humans supporting our members – yes, I am a little bias!
Day to day I am responsible for hiring a range of positions within our Finance, Sales, Marketing, Design, Workspace Operations, Clubspace (hospitality), and Events teams.
My approach is simple – each candidate is someone’s friend or family member, and I believe you should treat people how you would want someone that is important in your life to be treated.
That means no scripted questions, no boring jargon, and definitely no hoops to jump through, I want our interviews to feel like two people having a real conversation. I will share lots about x+why, the nitty gritty of the role and if I am working from home, there is a good chance you will hear my scruffy terrier go bananas if our call coincides with a delivery from Graham (our lovely postman)!
Unfortunately, we can’t hire everyone who applies; however, we can make sure that every candidate who takes the time and effort to engage with us, feels like it was a positive (and hopefully enjoyable!) experience - even if they don't end up joining the team on that occasion.
