Set inside the beautifully restored Arding & Hobbs building, The Arding Rooms is not just another private members’ club - it’s a space where heritage meets energy, where Art Deco elegance blends with modern creativity, and where exceptional hospitality feels effortless.

We’re building a team of people who care - about detail, about experience, and about creating moments that members genuinely look forward to.

Right now, we’re looking for a Floor Supervisor who brings confidence, warmth, and a natural sense of leadership to the floor.

We are offering approx. 35 hours per week (variable contract, £15 p/h) and shifts will vary from mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekends. The club is open 7 days a week (8am – late), so flexibility is essential!

The bit about the role:

This is a hands-on role at the heart of the club. You lead from the front by setting the tone, supporting your team, and making sure every member experience feels authentic, personal, and memorable.

You’ll:

• Guide and energise the front-of-house team during service

• Create a calm, confident presence on the floor - even when it’s busy

• Help shape the day with briefings, planning, and team support

• Manage bookings, table flow, and special member requests seamlessly

• Keep standards high - from service style to atmosphere

• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to continuously elevate the guest experience

The bit about you:

You’re someone who just gets hospitality. It is part of your DNA. You know how to read a room, lead a team, and make people feel welcome without it ever feeling forced.

You likely:

• Have experience in a senior FOH or supervisory role

• Thrive in premium or members’ club environments (or similar)

• Present yourself with confidence, polish, and personality

• Are warm, intuitive, and engaging

• Stay composed under pressure and bring positive energy to your team

• Have strong attention to detail and take pride in getting things right

• Are flexible, curious, and ready to grow with us

Bonus points if you know your way around a coffee machine - our members are caffeine addicts!!
