x+why was founded in 2019 by three determined entrepreneurs with a clear mission: business should be a force for good.

Today we operate over 400,000 sq ft of hospitality-led coworking, event, and members’ club spaces for 5,000+ members.
With a total of 15 sites, you’ll find us in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Milton Keynes, with more launches on the horizon!!
The bit about the role
As Senior Community Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of our stunning 100 Embankment site.
Initially this role will cover Embankment only, however you will be actively involved in the launch of our newest space in Manchester (which is due to open its doors this September) - when the role will then become multi-site.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll:
Manage, support and inspire the on-site team
Maintain exceptional operational standards across the space
Ensure occupancy targets are achieved and sustained
Take ownership of the site P&L
Create a standout experience for our members and guests
You’ll also play a key part of the wider x+why ecosystem, collaborating across the entire business.
A bit about you
You lead from the front. Every single day.
You bring energy, focus and determination - and your people skills are through the roof amazing!
You genuinely care about the members in your space and take the time to understand them, so you can anticipate what they need before they even ask.
You know small things matter. The details. The standards. The atmosphere.
And while you’re a strategic leader, you’re also happy to roll up your sleeves to help move a desk, tweak the AV, or jump in when the team needs an extra pair of hands.
When challenges appear (which they always do!), your enthusiasm and persistence keep things moving forward.
Experience in a similar role within the coworking or high end hospitality sector is preferred.
