The Arding Rooms is x+why's newest Private Members Club, located within the beautifully restored Arding & Hobbs building in the heart of Clapham Junction. Blending the iconic Art Deco era, with a modern creative spirit, The Arding Rooms will be a space where high end hospitality meets community, comfort and style.

We are looking for a passionate and polished Floor Supervisor to join the team on a variable contract (approx 35 hrs per week). The Club operates 7 days a week (8am to late), and shifts will vary across weekdays and weekends, morning and evenings - so flexibility is essential.

Our members drink copious amounts of coffee, so previous barista training would be very useful!!

The bit about the role:

• Lead and support the front-of-house team during daily service

• Ensure smooth and elevated experiences for members and guests

• Assist with training, team briefings, and daily service planning

• Handle bookings, floor plans, and special member requests

• Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and discretion

• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and wider club team to deliver excellence at every touch point

The bit about you:

• Experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role

• Ideally within a private members club or premium hospitality setting

• Immaculate presentation and confident, professional communication

• A natural host who exudes warmth and charm

• The ability to keep smiling, even when under pressure

• Strong organisational skills and consistent attention to detail

• Flexible, positive and excited to grow and learn
