The bit about us:
The Arding Rooms is our new private members club, located within the beautifully restored Arding & Hobbs building in the heart of Clapham Junction. A thoughtful blend of Art Deco eccentricity with a modern, creative spirit, we have created a space where high end hospitality meets community, comfort and style. 

The Arding Rooms operates 7 days a week, so shifts will cover a range of day, evening and weekends. This is a variable hour contract with approx 40 hours per week and an hourly rate of £14 + service.

The bit about the role:
As the first person our members engage with you will understand what exceptional service looks like, and how to achieve that. Your friendly and enthusiastic nature is infectious, and everyone you interacts with walks away a little bit happier!

While on the front desk, you will support the Club, Event and Membership teams by responding to email inquiries from prospective members, manage events inquiries, set up and book meeting rooms, liaise with suppliers and contractors, update invoices and support members with any ad hoc queries.

No two days are same – you relish the buzz of a varied role and enjoy the challenge of proactively exceeding our member’s expectations.

The bit about you:
Your friendly and approachable nature instantly puts people at ease – your people skills are through the roof amazing!!

You love being the “glue” that keeps everything ticking along and enjoy collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. Trouble shooting is what you do best – you are solution based in your approach and as a highly visible brand ambassador you demonstrate composure, professionalism and kindness, even on the bumpiest of days!

Experience working in a similar role for a premium restaurant brand or private members club is preferred.
