The Arding Rooms is x+why's newest Private Members Club, located within the beautifully restored Arding & Hobbs building in the heart of Clapham Junction. Blending the iconic Art Deco era, with a modern creative spirit — The Arding Rooms is a space where high end hospitality meets community, comfort and style.

We are looking for a passionate and polished Floor Supervisor to help shape the guest experience. This is a variable contract, offering approx 40 hrs per week. The Club is open 8am to late, 7 days per week. Shifts will cover daytime, evening and weekends and the hourly rate is £15 + service. 

The bit about the role:

• Lead and support the front-of-house team during daily service.
• Ensure smooth and elevated experiences for members and guests.
• Assist with training, team briefings, and daily service planning.
• Handle bookings, floor plans, and special member requests.
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and discretion.
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and wider Club team to deliver         excellence at every touch point.

The bit about you:

• Experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role
• Ideally within a private members club or premium hospitality setting 
• Immaculate presentation and confident, professional communication
• A natural host who exudes warmth and charm 
• The ability to keep smiling, even when under pressure
• Strong organisational skills and consistent attention to detail
• Flexible, positive and excited to grow with a newly launched Club
