Event Manager - Private Member's Club

The Arding Rooms is x+why's newest Private Members Club, located within the beautifully restored Arding & Hobbs building in the heart of Clapham Junction. Blending the iconic Art Deco era, with a modern creative spirit, we have created a stunning space where high end hospitality meets community, comfort and style.
Having recently opened we are looking for a professional and energetic Events Manager to deliver a range of thoughtfully curated corporate and social events, (which will include evenings and weekends as required).
The bit about the role:
As the Event Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and members, during both the planning and execution stages of event delivery. Your goal will be to create a memorable experience for every customer while identifying opportunities to up sell additional services to all event and meeting room clients. Additionally, you will ensure a smooth and seamless experience throughout the entire process.
You will oversee all aspects of the planning cycle. This includes managing onsite teams, audiovisual services, and third-party suppliers, ensuring that each team effectively delivers the clients' vision. A key focus of this role is revenue generation, while maintaining high standards and fostering a positive and inclusive culture.

You know how to deliver. You show up every day with energy, determination, and focus. Your people skills are through the roof amazing, and you go to great lengths to fully understand each client, to ensure you can anticipate their needs and exceed their expectations.
It is often the small things that have the biggest impact, and you understand that consistency of standards is what drives success across all aspects of an event.
Experience working in a similar role for a premium events business, private members club, lifestyle brand or luxury hotel is essential.
