The Arding Rooms is not just another kitchen. We’re a brand new Private Members Club opening this spring in the heart of Clapham Junction, in the stunningly restored Arding & Hobbs building – a local landmark full of history and character.

We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join the opening kitchen team this May. 

What makes The Arding Rooms different?

Housed in a Grade II listed building, we’re Clapham’s first private members club – designed to feel like a second home, not a scene. Just a vibrant mix of creatives, freelancers, founders and locals who love good food, good company and good vibes.

Our menus will be seasonal, local, and unfussy – with an ethical, ingredient-led approach. From relaxed weekday lunches to lively weekend brunches, we want food that feels honest, beautiful, and full of soul.

We’re building a culture of collaboration, creativity and kindness – where everyone feels valued and has space to grow.

What you’ll be doing:

• Running your section with confidence and care
• Cooking fresh, seasonal dishes to a high standard
• Supporting the Sous and Head Chef during busy services
• Helping train and guide junior team members
• Keeping your area clean, organised, and ready for service
• The Club will be operate full service 7 days a week 

What we’re looking for:

• Solid experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up
• Someone who takes pride in their work and loves good food
• A calm, team-focused attitude – especially under pressure
• Passion for ingredients, flavour, and great presentation
